Call the Meeting to Order
R. Zackery called a meeting of the Finance Committee Committee of Brighten Academy to order on Monday Nov 4, 2024 at 6:15 PM.

Approve Minutes
R. Zackery made a motion to approve the minutes from Finance Committee Meeting on 10-07-24.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Finance Committee
A.
Bank Transition Update
- Sent over letter to Regions- Notarized
- Meeting with Regions on Thursday
- Regions plan to give us 3% interest to keep the regions account - 1 years term
- Meeting with South State thursday to finish getting bank account details updated.
- Need all money moved by 11/15.
B.
Fundraising Update
- Fun Run fundraiser
- No upfront fees
- 30% off back end
- can be used for 2 semester
- account will consist of one faculty member
- 6 weeks to put run together
- Birdies for Brighten
- Date and location set: Chapel hill golf club, April 3rd 2025
- Save the date flyers ready to go
- Reaching out to Donna's assistant to send information to parents
- Will send out survey to parents to get engagement for the golf tournament (through Remind)
- BeanStack
- Still working through logistics to set up fundraiser
