Call the Meeting to Order

M. Rosenthal called a meeting of the board of trustees of Inwood Academy for Leadership Charter School to order on Tuesday Jul 29, 2025 at 7:05 PM.

Approve Minutes

K. Mangual made a motion to approve the minutes from June Board of Trustees Meeting on 06-17-25.
K. Smith seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

II. Board Committee Reports

A.

Academic Committee Updates

B. Mercedes reported the following to the Board: 

  • The special populations data, with a focus on students with disabilities and English language learners.
  • The updates on reading and math performance in Kindergarten and 1st grade, including intervention plans.
  • The 2025–2026 academic initiatives aimed at improving literacy and math fluency.
  • The graduation rate of 91%, meeting the school's August 2025 goal, with continued efforts underway to support remaining students.

B.

Finance and Facilities Committee Updates

A comprehensive summary of the Finance and Facilities update will be presented at the August Board meeting.
