Call the Meeting to Order
L. Morey called a meeting of the board of directors of Durham Charter School to order on Thursday Jun 20, 2024 at 5:02 PM.

P. Edwards made a motion to approve the minutes from Durham Charter School Monthly Board Meeting on 05-23-24.
R. Ford seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

- Mr. Steve gave updates concerning the construction of site on Kemp Road
- Mr. Quigley discussed ideas concerning options without trailers at Kemp Road at start of 24-25 school year

No updates from State Board of Education nor Charter School Advisory Board.

- Mr. Cain presented the committee report and board questions answered.
- Mr. Quigley's annual evaluation conducted in clossed sessions.

- Mr. Preston presented the committee reports with board discussion.

P. Edwards made a motion to approve the minutes from Durham Charter School - Board of Directors Retreat on 06-07-24.

The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Approve the slate of items listed for vote.
- 24-25 Student and Parent Handbooks upon review of attorney Adkins
- Durham Charter School participation in the Federal Community Eligibility Provision Program for the 24-25 school year
- Verkada Security System
- NC Statement of Assurances, Title 1,Part A and Mr. Qiugley is Durham Charter School's authorized representative
- NC Prayer Certification And Single Set of Assurances and Mr. Qiugley is Durham Charter School's authorized representative
- NC Debarment Certification and Mr.Quigley is Durham Charter School's authorized representative
R. Ford made a motion to Approve the aforementioned slate of items for vote.
C. Cain seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
