Call the Meeting to Order
Bob Carlson called a meeting of the Governance Committee Committee of Great Oaks Charter School - Bridgeport to order on Wednesday Mar 13, 2024 at 4:36 PM.

Approve Minutes
David Zieff made a motion to approve the minutes from GOBPT Governance Committee Meeting on 02-21-24.
Bea Bagley seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

COO report discussed Enrollment efforts and recruitment. This includes marketing.
More to be discussed in the board meeting.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 4:50 PM.

J. Scalice, CEO, reports the school received a 3 year renewal.
During CEO Report, J. Scalice will discuss Commissioners Network proposal received good feedback and recognition. J. Scalice will also discuss how the school is focusing on teacher recruitment and strategies that are already implemented.
CEO report will also begin looking at initial scope of funding for the following year. Budget should be finished and proposed to the board by next board meeting in April.
Board members discussed the closure of Bridgeport schools.
