NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Board Meeting will be held at 3900 Agnes Ave, Lynwood, CA 90262 and on zoom on the above date and time. During the meeting, the Board will consider, discuss, and may take action upon any of the agenda items listed below.
PUBLIC COMMENT – Members of the public calling in or participating via Zoom will be given the opportunity to address the Board during the meeting. Members of the public who wish to comment during the Board meeting may use the “raise hand” function on the Zoom platform to indicate their desire to speak at the beginning of consideration of that agenda item or during the period provided for comments from the public on non-agenda items. Members of the public who wish to speak on any item are requested (but not required) to identify themselves and indicate on which agenda item they wish to speak. The Board will provide an opportunity for the public to speak on each agenda item for a maximum of three (3) minutes per person or six (6) minutes if a translation is required.

Forecast is based on a current enrollment of 269 students with an ADA rate of 90.7%
More revenue sources will be added to the forecast once we identify allowable expenses.

STEP Reading Data
- about 25% are reading at grade level
- 67% of students grew 2 or more levels
- 66% of EL students grew 2 or more levels, outperforming district in average yearly growth.
- 38% of students grew 3 or more levels
- 42% of EL students grew 3 or more levels
M. Serrano suggested some focus areas for next year:
- Internalizing lessons and elevating instructional strategies
- More strategic data collection
- Phonics focus in K-1.
- Content masters in grades 2-5
- Explore whether STEP is a good measure for growth
B. Gutierrez wants to also focus on ramping up intervention efforts, explore tutors,, more training for Instructional Aides
Plan to start intervention in August based on Tier 2-3 scholars
EOY Staff celebration: Recognized founding staff members
Science Fair: Grades 2-5 presented their projects
Honor Roll: Scholars who exceeded grade level expectations had pizza with the principal
Earth Day: installed planters at each site

Teacher Appreciation Week: Student letters and gifts, coffee bar, lunch, breakfast, dessert bar.
