II. Review September Financial Statement

A.

Delay in Process

Raushann expressed concern that she has been unable to access accounting information from the state financial system throughout the month.  While BASSE is now managing its own business services, there have been hurdles with accessing the state financial system in order to pull monthly financial statements. She has been in contact with administrators in an effort to resolve the issue, but to date has been unsuccessful. Mr. Riggs indicated his willingness to assist with this process. The September financial statement will be posted as soon as possible.

Raushann provided an overview of the school's financial status, starting with the report of 123 students documented for the September 30 count, and highlighting that expenditures are on track, as is income; and that there had been several donations noted in the last several weeks: $30,000 grant (part of a five year larger grant from WSFS Bank); and individual donations totaling $7,000.

III. Other Business

A.

Fundraising Events

BASSE is planning a major fundraiser for the Spring where Donna Brazile will be the keynote speaker at an event to be held at the school on March 20, 2026.

Additionally, there was a popcorn fundraiser which netted a little under $400, and several grants have been submitted to support specific projects and activities at the school.

IV. Closing Items

A.

Adjourn Meeting

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 3:04 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,
P. Roberts
