II. Executive Session
 

Pursuant to 29 Del. C. Section 10004(b) (1) and (2) the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence will call for an executive session closed to the public pursuant to all subsections relating to the discussion of personnel matters in which names, competency and abilities of individual employees are discussed.

  
III. Public Comment
 

A person wishing to make a public comment must complete an online request at least five business days prior to a meeting in which the comment will be made.  On the form, the subject matter and a 100 word summary of the public comment should be included.  During any one Board meeting no more than five public comments will be heard, and each individual public comment will last no longer than three minutes.

The Board will determine if it wishes to approve the DOE December 2024 monthly budget web report.

The Board will determine if it wishes to approve the following positions included in the budget as outlined in the CBOC report:

  • Part-time cafeteria support
  • Part-time custodial support
  • Two part-time paraprofessionals to provide classroom support for students with special needs.
  • Two part-time special education teachers to support students with special needs not to exceed forty hours per week collectively.
  • A Launch Leader position as outlined in the job description.

The Board will determine if it wishes to approve the following positions which are not included in the budget as outlined in the CBOC report:

  • Retention incentive bonuses for faculty not to exceed $16,000.
  • Employee stipends for Extra Pay for Extra Responsibilities not to exceed $6,500.
  • Inclusion of Extended School Year Services (ESY) required for students with special needs not to exceed $3,000.
  • Payment for Alonna Berry of $1,500 for leadership coaching.
  • Approval of the PCA Leadership Proposal for one month to work on the goals outlined in that proposal.
