Minutes were approved with the correction that Brad Moritz was in attendance at the October 26, 2022 meeting.

Academic Results for August Screener

Fall Interim Assessment Data
Danny Song gave a brief overview of Fall Interim Assessment Data. More details will be provided at the January meeting. Interim Assessment are more predictive of performance on TCAP.
III. Development Committee
A.
Possible Campaign Materials
Danny Song shared the Campaign Materials for individuals and companies to help with supporting the college trips in the spring.
B.
Development Committee Report
Ryan Viner shared updates from the Development Committee.
The goal of the development committee is to encourage board members to get people in front of Danny Song to hear the story of BMA.
Danny Song gave an update on progress towards the fundraising goal.

A.
Board on Track Presentation
Mike Mizzoni presented an overview of how to use Board on Track.
V. Finance
A.
Audit Draft
Was not discussed because the draft was not available. The draft should be available by 12/9 and will then be circulated via email for approval after the finance committee has done a final review. The audit will then be submitted by the 12/31/22 deadline.
B.
October Financials
Danny Song reviewed financials through October 31, 2022.
VI. Executive Director Report
A.
K-3
Danny Song reviewed the priorities for the rest of this semester. One of the focuses is on curriculum selection and modification for K-1.
Board members were invited to share what they are excited and nervous about in regards to the K-3 expansion.
Danny Song shared the proposed org charts to help create leadership sustainability.

Florence Jones shared the August diagnostic results administered through iReady. The iReady assessment offer BMA growth data over the course of the year and year over year. Board members were invited to ask questions.
