We purchased 196 gallons of foaming hand sanitizer. Due to shipping and supply constraints, we needed to move forward with the purchase. The potential purchase was discussed with the Board, and preliminary approval was given.

 

Request Board vote to ratify the purchase of hand sanitizer in the amount of $6,124.51
  C. Waterford Reading Software
   
Typically we receive Waterford Reading software in addition to Imagine Learning from USBE as part of the Early Literacy Grant.  This year they have only awarded Imagine Learning, so we will have to purchase Waterford if we choose to use it. It is used in Kindergarten.

Lauretta Hill, Literacy Coach/Coordinator, has taken the lead on developing the OPA Early Literacy Plan. It was submitted to the State and received pre-approval.
We require Board approval prior to final submission to USBE.
  C. CO Detector Project
   
Fire Marshall communicated that as long as we have a plan, we would be in compliance. Due to the current financial constraints on our budget, we would like to wait for final determination on some outstanding grant funding before voting on this project. 

 

Plan:
  1. Board vote on CO detector installation project on September 17, 2020.
  2. CO detector installation, complete by January 1, 2021. 
  D. Field Trip Discussion
   
Board to discuss whether field trips to Goblin Valley and Spain will be allowed.
