M. Snyder called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Brighter Choice Charter Schools to order on Thursday Nov 18, 2021 at 8:30 AM.

Bond Finance Update
Martha will sign closing documents later today. Closing will be finalized next week (11/23).
B.
Meeting with Mayor Sheehan and Police Chief Hawkins
Martha Snyder provided an update/overview of the meeting with Mayor Sheehand and Police Chief Hawkins to discuss increased violence in community, particularly recent incidents within proximity of the schools. Luke L., Karen, Kristina, Trudy and Martha were in attendance. Dicussion focused on ways to ensure increased safety of schools, particularly during arrival and dismissal as well as providing additional trainings for school staff.
C.
Brighter Choice 20 Year Celebration
Ideas and options for the 20 year celebration were discussed. A final budget for the event will need to be provided.
