Call the Meeting to Order
T. Hanmer called a meeting of the Academic Policy Committee of Brighter Choice Charter Schools to order on Thursday Apr 8, 2021 at 8:55 AM.

Approve Minutes
M. Snyder made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Policy Committee Meeting on 02-11-21.
N. Maresca seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Academic Policy
A.
COVID Update and Principal's Report
L. Licygiewicz described the requirement for the schools to give scholars only Book 1 of the ELA test. The question was raised by Trudy about how the test scores will be used and by whom. Likely they will be used as intervention benchmarking and evaluation of learning loss.
L.Licygiewicz gave a brief update on enrollment in the BCCS Boys' school as well as where we are on enrollment and re-registration for the fall.

COVID Update and Principal's Report
L.Licygiewicz described the enrollment figures for the BCCS Girls' school. Additionally, L. Licygiewicz described the enrollment and re-enrollment for the fall 2021.
