B. Jones made a motion to approve the minutes from Finance Committee Meeting - August on 08-29-24.
G. Thompson seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Grant Updates
- Calder Foundation discussion and update
- Upcoming grants
- CSGF update; approval contingent upon facilities
- Facilities grant from the state opens on 9/30/2024
- Max $500k per school
- Can be used for certain facilities related expenses
- Dr. Jones meeting with outside resources to optimize the grant
- Potential Grants
- Nissan Foundation likely submitted soon
- Drexel Foundation
- Focused on new start schools

- Eliminated another facilities option
- Narrowed down to 2 options
