Call the Meeting to Order

E. Westendorf called a meeting of the School Performance Committee of E.L. Haynes Public Charter School to order on Friday May 20, 2022 at 2:07 PM.

Q3 Dashboard Q and A

Chief Academic Officer Rikki Hunt Taylor shared the highlights from the Q3 Quarterly dashboard. Committee members shared their questions and discussed the trends they are seeing in the data.

SY22-23 Academic Priorities

CAO Rikki Hunt Taylor reflected on the priorities from the 2021-22 school year and presented the draft priorities for the 2022-23 school year. Dr. Hunt Taylor shared that the approach will focus on deepening the work from the prior year to continue the growth and progress that is happening rather than widening the priorities and stretching the team too thin.

Discussion: Future Priorities

CAO Rikki Hunt Taylor led a discussion about how E.L. Haynes should provide opportunity for its students and whether the organization should look for solutions within itself or whether it should find external partners to support students. Committee members discussed ways to  to build on our future endeavors while continuing with our current strategy of “staying the course” with the implementation of our current goals.
