K. Marshall called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Edison School of the Arts to order on Tuesday Dec 19, 2023 at 4:00 PM.

Approve Minutes November 2023 Academic Meeting
K. Dixon made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Committee Meeting on 11-28-23.
K. Marshall seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Academic Excellence

November 2023 Academic Report
Presented by Amy Berns:
- Discussed vacancies and candidates for certified and classified positions.
- Three upcoming interviews for classified positions.
- Updates will be made for academic enrichment times adding a percentage of the scores/academic data.
- Discussed highlights for targeted student interventions.
- Discussed professional development for staff.
- Discussed student attendance incentives to improve attendance percentages.
