K. Dixon called a meeting of the Academic Excellence Committee of Edison School of the Arts to order on Thursday Jan 12, 2023 at 3:42 PM.

Approve Minutes from 11-17-22
K. Dixon made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Meeting on 11-17-22.
T. Overdorf seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Academic Excellence
A.
Academic Report
Nathan presented new staff introductions. Academics presented by Amy. Sheena presented suspensions and recourses for mental support. Hill presented tutoring results, NWEA growth and expectations.
Staff introductions presented by Nathan Tuttle
Amy Burns presented academics
Sheena Roach presented suspension rates and mental health alternatives
James Hill presented tutoring expectations and NWEA growth highlighted strong tutors and tutors not so great.
