Edison School of the Arts Mission is to continue to be an educational and artful resource for all students, parents, community, and staff members by consistent and focused professional development, invitational practices by all, utilizing quarterly and annual reviews. We will continue to develop our educational and arts aesthetic by expanding our arts experiences, exposure, and partnerships
Edison School of the Arts Vision is to provide an environment that promotes high academic and creative achievement through implementation of visual and performing arts course programming. We encourage students to become responsible citizens who are culturally diverse. We develop lifelong learners, appreciators, and consumers of the arts.

Call the Meeting to Order
K. Feeney-Caito called a meeting of the Advancement Committee of Edison School of the Arts to order on Thursday Oct 22, 2020 at 10:14 AM.

Approve Minutes
K. Feeney-Caito made a motion to approve the minutes from February Advancement Committee Meeting on 02-25-20.
P. Guthrie seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Advancement
A.
Grants
- Guthrie submitted grant requests to IPS Ed Foundation for sensory items. We have not heard back yet.
- Lilly Day of Service could not come onsite. Everything had t be done virtually. They made over 600 masks for students and staff.
- Fixing up chicken coop.
- Charles Schwab donated 8x8 shed to attach to chicken coop-$1000 donation
- Made sight words for ESL.
- Made several sneeze guards for teachers.
- They did a uniform drive
- collected $300 plus dollars
- Sia Grant, $15,000- musical sensory playground and indoor items as well
- $1000 uniform grant from WIDC-Guthrie submitted grant requests and have not heard back yet.
III. Enrollment

A new count will be in January, so we will continue to enroll students.
Lottery for nest year begins in October.
