Call the Meeting to Order

L. Hollon called a meeting of the Academics Committee of The Meliora School to order on Wednesday Mar 11, 2026 at 6:50 PM.

II. Academics

Review Academic Committee Scope

The committee reviewed academic program submission requirements and discussed past and upcoming deadlines and preparedness. Key items included:

  • Adoption of the school calendar (completed)
  • Student Information System status (completed)
  • Library-related curriculum implementation planning (strategic plan and timeline discussed)

III. Policy Review

A.

School Policy Development

The committee discussed a request to review the following policies:

  • Social media policy
  • Student code of conduct
  • Student acceptable use policy

Separate working documents were created for each policy to support structured review and feedback.

Adjourn Meeting

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 8:12 PM.
