Board update on site visit to Impact Charter Academy on 2/19/24.

  
  B. Update on Required Stipulations Update Per Education Explosion Agreement Discuss Charles Jones 10 m
   
  1. Proximity Learning began providing virtual instruction on 2/20/24.  This will continue through 5/24/24.
  2. i-Ready diagnostic assessments began on 2/20/24.  RRCA should be have all diagnostics completed by Friday 2/23/24 with data ready to send to Ed Explosion on week of 2/26/24.
  3. Rate for after-school tutoring will be $25.00/hour.  Time to be recorded on manual timesheets and sign-in sheets with student signatures must be presented for each day tutored.             
  4. All remediation and intervention materials have arrived and been distributed.
  5. Once i-ready diagnostics are completed, tutoring schedules will be completed and information will be presented to parents and students.
  6. Leap 360 results are complete. Data wall are being completed by staff to send to Ed Explosion.
  7. No additional para-professionals have been hired so far other than to replaced staff that have resigned.

Crime limits will be reduced to $100,000 for all crime coverages effective 5/5/24.  This is in compliance with state law and provisions of our policy has to change.  This is an underwriting decision by Brown & Brown.

1.  PO# 23-69 Additional class through Proximity Learning.  Environmental Science and Physical Science.

2.  PO# 23-70 purchase of 24 Chromebooks to distribute to students who do not have a computer at home.  Important for students to be able to work on i-ready and IXL at home during the 2nd semester of this year.

3.  PO# 23-64 update on adjustment to approved po to cover classes created by the revamp plan.

Board to discuss meeting to be held with current stakeholders as to the current plans for RRCA for the 2024-2025SY.  Meeting to be held on 3/12/24 in the gym at 6p.

  
  H. RRCA School Closure-Transition Kick-Off Meeting FYI Charles Jones 10 m
   

RRCA received invite from Sheynece Tippen of the LDOE Charter Accountability office for a virtual meeting on the week of 2/26/24 to discuss the LDOE school closure process. Tentative date will be determined.
