C. Jones to provide update on new procedure implemented by Brown & Brown that every customer must have a signed enrollment agreement.  The purpose of the agreement is to give Brown & Brown permission to accept and process enrollment, cancellations, and change forms for their clients.

Mr. Douglas Burke from Kolder, Slaven, & Company will provide a summary on the results of the 2022-2023 financial audit for RRCA.

  1. Client must purchase a virtual instructional course platform for high school(Proximity Learning)
  2. Client must purchase an assessment and intervention program for all grade levels for Math and ELA(i-Ready)
  3. Client must allocate additional funds for after-school tutoring 4-days a week for at least 60% of school population.
  4. Client must purchase recommended materials in Math and ELA for after-school tutoring.
  5. Client must allocate additional school funds to hire 2-3 additional paraprofessionals.

1.  PO# 23-63 1st installment to Education Explosion.  Agreement received board approval on 1/12/24.

2.  PO# 23-64 to Proximity Learning for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade virtual instruction.

3.  PO# 23-65(Mastery Education) and 23-66(American Book Company) are for Leap 2025 practice for all grade levels.

Board to discuss meeting to be held with current stakeholders as to the current plans for RRCA for the 2024-2025SY.  Meeting to be held on 2/6/24 in the gym at 530p.

Board discussion on using YCP as a solution for RRCA's truancy problem as opposed to reporting parent's to the District Attorney's Office.  

 
  I. Facilities Usage and Rental Agreement 5 m
   

Two entities have contacted RRCA about facilities usage for local basketball teams in the area.

  1. Mayor Pickett on behalf of _____________________________________.
  2. Coach Shontera Williams for three AAU teams in different age groups for summer play._________________________________________________________________________________________________________.

Fee charge will be $300 per week.  Teams will be limited to 3 practices a week.  Must provide RRCA with a practice schedule for period they are requesting use of the gym.
