  D. Safer Smarter School-SSS Covid-19 Funds in eGMS FYI Charles Jones 3 m
   

SY22-23 was the 2nd year that RRCA participated in the weekly COVID-19 screening program provided by the LDH.  RRCA and EdOps were notified the a $14,500 stipend was entered into eGMS on our behalf.  The deadline to submit cost in to eGMS was on 6/30/23.  Cost were submitted to EdOps on 6/1/23.  The cost were entered in to eGMS by EdOps on 6/7/23.  Stipends were distributed to those eligible on through an off-cycle payroll enter for 6/16/23.

PTO policy will remain the same as SY21-22.  Rollover will be calculated by ED after payroll is processed for June 2023 and balances provided to staff by end of July 2023.

Packet made available so board members are aware of what RRCA's administration is evaluating prior to new students being accepted to RRCA.  Parents will need to contact the school office at 318-409-4015 at ask to speak to Mrs. Deanna Bonnette to receive an enrollment packet.  Only completed packets will be evaluated and possible accepted.

 
  C. Educational Consulting Associates Vote Charles Jones 2 m
   

ECA is RRCA's contractor responsible for securing e-rate funding for the Schools and Libraries Fund.  For SY23-24, ECA has secured $22k for RRCA. The new consulting agreement needs to be approve and signed.  Lydia Hooge is our contact for ECA.

 
IV. Facilities and Transportation 6:20 PM

  B. Town of Mansura Summer Camps Discuss Charles Jones 5 m
   

Contacted John Caro of Brown & Brown about the camp. RRCA's policy allows for such an event to be hosted on our campus.  Per Mr. Caro's recommendation, RRCA requested that the town of Mansura add RRCA to its liability insurance as a additional insured vendor.  No report has been provide by the town on the matter.  Unless this detail can be workout with proof, RRCA will not be able to allow the town to use its facilities for their summer camp.  RRCA still unclear as to the dates of the camp.  Clarification on the dates will be needed form the town of Mansura.

 
V. Academic Excellence 6:30 PM

  B. High School Leap Results SY22-23 FYI Charles Jones 5 m
   

Review of Leap results from the last 2-3 years, show that there was in increase in the percent of students scoring master in the core subjects.  The percent increase is provided for each core subject.

  • English I-5%
  • English II-14%
  • Algebra I-156%
  • Geometry-96.6%
  • Biology-145.6%
  • US History-no percent change

  A. Team Fresh Discuss Charles Jones 5 m
   

RRCA with the help of School Food Solutions is in the process of bringing in Team Fresh as our new food vendor for SY23-24. Site Visit to the Team Fresh facility took place on 6/14/23. The lunch plan through Team Fresh is similar to what RRCA experienced with Focus Foods during the beginning of the 22-23SY.  One delivery of meals per week,  Currently negotiating staffing needs and waste removal.  Price of meals provided by Team Fresh is below. price of Team Fresh meals are equal to current reimbursement rates. Cost of Trio meals is in parenthesis.
