  A. Proposed amendment to PTO Policy Vote Stanley Celestine 5 m
   

C. Jones is requesting the amendment below be added to the current PTO policy effective 7/1/2023.

 

Note:  PTO will not be granted to any employee during the first ninety days of employment per the probationary period of the RRCA employee handbook. A PTO deduction adjustment will be made by the executive director per the employee's daily rate for each day missed during the employee's probationary period during each payroll cycle.  First eligible day to begin using PTO for days missed will be 12/18/2023.

 
  B. Approve payroll procedure for FY2023-2024 Vote Charles Jones 2 m
   

Board to approve current payroll procedure for 2023-2024.  This is one of the policies that must be presented to auditors during the annual audits conducted by Kolder & Slaven.

 
  C. Approval RRCA's teacher & para-professional salary schedule for FY23-24 Vote Charles Jones 4 m
   

Salary schedule provided is based on years worked as a certified teacher or certified para-professional.  Salary scale provided through 10 years of service.  Certified teachers with more than 10 years of experience will reach max salary of $51,360 per year for the remaining years worked at RRCA as a teacher.  Certified para-professionals with more that 10 years of experience will reach max salary of $18,000 per year for the remaining years worked at RRCA as a para-professional.

 
  D. Contract Renewal-EdOps Vote Charles Jones 4 m
   

Monthly rate for 22-23 is $6200.  Monthly rate for 23-24 will be $6815.  Increase of $615.00 per month for the same service provided in 22-23. Annual increase of $7380.

 
  E. System for Award Management FYI Charles Jones 2 m
   

The registration for RED RIVER CHARTER ACADEMY, INC. / LCN7H5U3L3T1 / 896Y0 is now active in the U.S. federal government's System for Award Management (SAM). 

 

This allows RRCA to remain eligible to do business with the federal government.  RRCA has been renewed for 23-24. The annual renewal date for the registration is 2024-04-19 13:40:26.514.

Board has voted to settle the Amanda Reed case docket# 20229902.  Board President needs to sign p.8 of the confidential settlement and release of claims agreement to execute on behalf of the school.  Executive Director has already prepared the settlement checks for Amanda Reed and attorney Matthew R. Foster for the amounts stated in the settlement agreement.  Both parties should receive payment in the next 5-7 business days.
