The School Building Authority (SBA) requires that districts follow the procurement process to vet and approve an Owner's Representative for all SBA applications and projects.

The Facilities Committee and RISE Prep's legal counsel approved this RFP on March 19, 2025 at the Facilities Committee meeting released the RFP on March 20, 2025. Proposals will be brought to the Board for consideration at the May 6, 2025 Meeting.

The School Building Authority (SBA) requires that districts follow the procurement process to vet and approve an architect for all SBA applications and projects. This agenda item requests that the Board approve the Executive Team to ask Kite Architects, a firm on the Master Purchase Agreement list with the state, to submit a contract proposal for RISE Prep counsel review, and Board approval when ready. Kite Architects has worked on public, charter, and private schools throughout the state. The contract would include the required Educational Planner subcontractor service through Kite.

The School Building Authority (SBA) requires that districts follow the procurement process to vet and approve a commissioning agent for all SBA applications and projects.

This agenda item requests that the Board approve the Executive Team to ask Colliers, a Commissioning firm on the Master Purchase Agreement list with the state, to submit a contract proposal for RISE Prep counsel review, and Board approval when ready. Colliers has been the Commissioning agent on RISE Prep's construction projects at 30 Cumberland Street.

The School Building Authority (SBA) requires that districts follow the procurement process to vet and approve a construction manager for all SBA applications and projects. This RFP draft will be brought to the full board for release approval when design/plans are ready for bidding in late Spring/early Summer 2025.
