This is a public meeting of the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of Northwood Academy Charter School that was properly advertised pursuant to the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act. The public meeting schedule is posted at the school and on the website.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and listen to the Finance Committee conduct its business tonight. All written comments submitted to the Committee via email (board@northwoodcs.org) will be acknowledged and incorporated into the official minutes. This meeting is accessible to the public via the remote platform Zoom and is being recorded.
Meeting will be conducted via Zoom platform with ability to join via phone as well.

The Meeting Minutes from the 10-5-22 Finance Committee Meeting have been updated to reflect that Tom Taylor was Absent instead of Remote.

Current Budget Year CBAs
No new CBAs were presented for the SY 22/23 Budget.
III. SY 22/23 Budget
A.
Review Budget aligned to enrollment
1. The projected enrollment numbers were as follows:
- 647 Regular Ed
- 140 Special Ed
- 787 Total Enrollment
2. The current actual enrollment is as follows:
- 636 Regular Ed
- 133 Special Ed
- 769 Total Enrollment
3. At this time, no material change to the Budget is anticipated based on the projected vs actual enrollment numbers.
4. The overall target enrollment at this time is 775 students.
5. The following items will be evaluated and reviewed as part of the 12-7-22 Finance Committee Meeting:
- Per pupil payout from the district
- Adjusted Salaries
- Items included in ESSR Buckets
- IEP Updates
