Board members will anchor in the outcomes for our time together which are to: 

1. Establish a strong, connected culture among board members and key leadership at BPS

2. Strengthen familiarity and internalization of BPS’s network goals and CEO goals — where we are currently and where we want to be for students, families, and staff; and 

3. Identify how the BPS and Schools Boards can best support the network in reaching its goals & set goals to define board success

Andrew will present the FY25-26 Network Goals and share his specific goals and priorities for the coming year as CEO.

Board members will set priorities for the BPS and Schools Boards, based on our shared understanding of our current reality, the BPS network and CEO goals for the year, and where we are most uniquely to contribute as board members.

Board members will receive committee assignments for FY25-26 (Academic Excellence, Governance, Finance, and CEO Support & Evaluation). Over lunch, board members and members of the Network Leadership Team (NLT) will meet as committees to get to know one another, review and internalize the latest vision and goals of each committee, set dates for monthly meetings for the upcoming school year, and recommend non-board committee members to join who may add value and expertise to the work of the committees.
