The RTHS Board of Directors meets monthly on the Third Wednesday of each month, except for December and July. Meetings are held onsite at 5:30pm until 7pm, at the school. There is frequently a virtual option posted, as well.

E. Cunningham called a meeting of Research Triangle High School to order on Wednesday Feb 19, 2025 at 5:51 PM.

II. Executive Session Business

A. Executive Session Report

Discussion for new staff approval for full-time math position:

The part-time math teacher left at the end of 2024 for a community college position and course(s) in the meantime has been taught by substitutes.
Other Math needs at the school to be fulfilled by having the position as full-time.
Math teachers are a hard skill to recruit.

III. Closing Items

A. Adjourn Meeting

C. Coia made a motion to adjourn executive session.

A. Tobien seconded the motion.

The team VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 6:03 PM.
