II. 20-21 School Year Data Review

A.

ILEARN Key Take-Aways

1. Math and English Pass Rates almost double the surrounding school results from 19-20!
2. 20-21 Pass Rates for all schools will be released this summer.
3. Proud of first "go" at these assessments, especially given the challenges of the school year as a result of COVID19.

B.

IREAD Key Take-Aways

1. Pass rate slightly lower than expected, but no data to norm against given this was the school's first time taking the test.
2. About half the students have already retaken the test.
3. Second half of students will retake after summer school remediation. Expect to get at least a few more passers.
4. First time testing data showed a strong correlation between achieving STEP level 9 and passing the test. For the students who have retaken the test, this has not held though.

C.

Navigator (Achievement First Math Curriculum)

1. In year two of curriculum.
2. Really impressive math growth from BoY to EoY. Met goals across the board.

D.

STEP Key Take-Aways

1. Significant growth and achievement difference between in-person and virtual learnings.
2. Best performance in Grade 1 where over 80% of students achieved a year's growth and 65% more than a year's growth (gap closing!).
2. Most challenging grade level is Grade 4. This is inline with anecdotal data for this grade level.
