Call the Meeting to Order

C. Miller called a meeting of the Academic Achievement Committee of Circle City Prep to order on Tuesday Apr 13, 2021 at 4:00 PM.

Approve Minutes

S. Chang made a motion to approve the minutes from Academic Achievement Committee Meeting on 06-11-20.
A. Moseman seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

II. Academic Achievement Dashboard Review

A.

IREAD

-65% pass rate
-Encouraged by IREAD results given circumstances.
-Results consistent between on-site and virtual. Atypical against schools Megan has spoken to.
-Retake beginning of June.

ILEARN

Window opens next week. 

 

C.

STEP Window #3

-Positive progress in most classes.
-Kindergarten major jump!
-Will purchase up to STEP 19 next year to better benchmark 4-6th.

III. 21-22 Enrollment Projections

Projections

-21-22 Goal = 275
-21-22 Current Estimated Enrollment = 177
-Largest gap is 3rd grade transitioning to 4th grade - Need 13
-6 "Maybe" Returners

IV. 21-22 Annual Calendar

A.

Two Options

1. Option #1 - Participate in Summer Learning Lab  = Start school year later and get out later.
2. Option #2 - Don't participate in Summer Learning Lab = Start school year with IPS and get out earlier.
