S. Chang called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Circle City Prep to order on Wednesday Jan 27, 2021 at 12:33 PM.

A.

Discuss conflict of interest forms

  • Reviewed and no concerns flagged

Governance Meeting Next Steps

  • Onboarding/Orientation
    • Coordinate informal DEI board discussions 
      • Jinee to lead and will connect with MM next week to discuss developing an annual plan
  • Academic dashboard will include data as it relates to racial justice
    • Still need to define any additional indicators we'd like to track
    • MM to check and see if the new SIS can support survey administration and other capabilities
  • Reviewing accounting procedures and financial policies to ensure equitable practices are in place 
  • Developing a job description of what it means to be a board member at CCP

Review school leader succession plan

  • Reviewed and will share with the board for feedback

Discuss Action Items from Annual Calendar

  • Will launch board on track assessment in February
  • Discussed board officer positions for SY21.22
