Call the Meeting to Order
Teri Harrison called a meeting of the board of directors of Menlo Park Academy Governing Board to order on Monday Jul 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
II. Action Items
A.
New Hires
Fraser Hamilton Sr made a motion to hire Alexandra Henning as a teacher at a salary of $40,500.
Richard Hronek seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
Fraser Hamilton Sr made a motion to hire Kaitlin Phillips as a teacher at a salary of $36,500.
Richard Hronek seconded the motion.
The motion did not carry.
Fraser Hamilton Sr made a motion to hire Dennis Costa as an Intervention Specialist at a salary of $31,000.
Richard Hronek seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
Richard Hronek made a motion to hire Doug Thompson as a teacher at a salary of $43,000.
Fraser Hamilton Sr seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
Dave Massa arrived.
B.
Social Emotional Services Agreement
Richard Hronek made a motion to accept proposal #2 at a cost not to exceed $110,000.
Fraser Hamilton Sr seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Teri Harrison made a motion to enter into executive session to discuss the hiring of a public employee.
Fraser Hamilton Sr seconded the motion.
