Notice is hereby given that the Hogan Preparatory Academy Board will conduct a virtual Special Board Meeting at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Hogan Preparatory Academy Main Office, at 1331 E Meyer Boulevard, Kansas City, MO.

Danielle Binion called a meeting of the board of directors of Hogan Preparatory Academy to order on Tuesday Jul 9, 2024 at 12:30 PM.

Erin Lenihan made a motion to Adopt the agenda.

A. HPA BOD Training

Gina Fafard, Board on Track presented training to the BOD on roles and responsibilites as well as functions of the board.

B. HPA BOD Election of Officers

Danielle Binion made a motion to Nominate Danielle Binion as President.

Daniel Smith seconded the motion.

The following motions were approved:

IV. Closing Items

A. Motion to Go into Closed Session

Natalie Lewis made a motion to RSMo § 610.021. Closed meetings and closed records authorized when, exceptions, sunset dates for certain exceptions (1) Legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys.... 3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees by a public governmental body when personal information about the employee is discussed or recorded.....(13) Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employees or applicants for employment with no action taken.
