HPA's non-employee related insurance coverage annual renewal date is 10/15. Because of the COVID situation this year, the underwriters were significantly behind and we just received the final proposal for FY20-21 last week. Paul Greenwood and I
reviewed the premium updated with our broker, Assured Partners, on 10/9/20. There has been about a 9% increase from last year to this year. More than 1/2 of that increase is tied to coverage for educators legal and employment practices. This increase is tied to industry increases across the board related to actual experience losses. However, you'll also note that our premiums remain well below those from 19-20 when we were covered by a different broker.
