• Leah identified the broad areas for her presentation that include a look at where the school is currently, and a look forward to where the school needs to go next year to make our school even more successful:
   

1.  Systematize our behavioral and cultural responses in the same way as we have for our
   academic challenges. Looking at a RTI model (Response to Intervention) with a
   Restorative Justice (RJ) base.
2.  Academic trends this year
3. TK planning
    Comments: We want to make sure that our behavior and climate interventions align with the work the middle school program is doing.

• Miranda did a brief update on middle school.
• She will check to see if the May middle school concert can be changed since it is on the same night as the Board meeting and this committee meeting.

• Christine updated us on the School Profile which will use the findings from the work the
  consultants did with the community, the Board, students, and staff.
   
• The Strategic Plan work starts on February 8 th .
• The Summer Program information will go out to parents on Monday. Scholarships are available for the students identified for intervention.
• The Alameda movie theater ad for AoA started last week.
• AoA is seeing more students applying for middle school from Mya Lin.
