U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan
D. Forbes made a motion to accept the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan.
C. Robie seconded the motion.
Question / R. Whittaker: Can we use this money for hiring additional staff (most importantly for additional support and intervention)?
Answer / S. Ivery: In order to get this loan converted to a grant, AoA has to commit to pay its employees through the end of the school year (June 30, 2020).
Question / C. Robie: What is the timeline on having to spend the amount of money?
Answer / S. Ivery: You have to spend 75% of it on payroll-related expenses over the next 8 weeks. It is really about showing proof that we continue to pay employees.
