Alameda Parcel Tax
During discussion, the AoA Board unanimously supported the renewal of the Measure A Parcel Tax.
IV. Action Items
A.
Approve The Academy of Alameda's Mission Statement
D. Forbes made a motion to approve the new mission statement: "The Academy of Alameda is an equity-centered public school that equips ALL students with the critical thinking skills, knowledge, mindset, and personal qualities so that they are on track for success in college and are inspired to affect change in their communities.'.
S. Youngblood seconded the motion.
