Tamara Centeno, K-8 Attendance and Family Liaison, will give a presentation on the impacts of absenteeism, defining absenteeism and truancy, the SART (Student Attendance Review Team) process, and the top absentee issues impacting AoA students.

  A. School Accountability Report Card (SARC) Vote Christine Chilcott 10 m
   

EC Section 35256 requires the governing school board of each school district to "develop and cause to be implemented" a SARC for each school within their district in which to report school conditions provided in EC Section 33126. To "develop and cause to be implemented" is to "approve." 

 

Draft Resolution: 

The Academy of Alameda Board votes to accept that the Student Accountability Report Card for The Academy of Alameda was posted on the State of California's SARC website by the February 1, 2024 deadline as required.

The board will vote on four additional floating holidays for non-exempt staff.

 

Draft Resolution: The Academy of Alameda Board votes to approve four additional floating holidays for non-exempt employees effective February 1, 2024.
