Reason for Vote:

The originally voted on LCAP at the June 11, 2026 board meeting had an incorrect Budget Overview for Parents. There were incorrect 25-26 LCFF Supplemental & Concentration (S&C) and LCFF Carryover figures listed which have now been correct. The base grant was also corrected to $7,352,550 (only a $6 difference from the prior submission).

Draft Resolution: 

The Academy of Alameda Board of Directors votes to approve the amended 2026-27 LCAP as presented.

Purpose: This is a voting item

Draft Motion: The Academy of Alameda Board of Director votes to approve resolution #924261 which approves the following teachers listed in the resolution to hold their current assignments for the 26-27 school year.

This item is brought to the Governing Board as an action item seeking adoption of the attached Declaration of Need for Fully Qualified Educators. Upon approval of this Declaration by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC), the School will be permitted to hire emergency permit teachers for Elementary School Teachers and Middle School English, Math and History Teachers and limited assignment teachers.
