Friendship Day Celebrations

Rescheduled for March 21.  This is a free dress day!  Please make sure clothes are still appropriate for school.  Most craft supplies and snacks were already filled, but please check Vicnet to see if there is anything still needed.  Volunteers were transferred to the new date.  If you can't volunteer on the new date, you can drop your spot on Vicnet; please also reach out to your room parent to make sure they get the spot filled.  If you student has cards or items, they can bring them in that day, no food items, and you must have something for everyone in the class.  Log volunteer hours and $10=1 volunteer hour.

Staff Appreciation

Classified Staff Appreciation Week is this week.  The team will drop  off gifts for them later this week when we're back at school.

March Stock the Breakroom is rescheduled for March 11 for third, fourth and fifth grade families.  April stock the breakroom will be kinder, first, second grades and collection will be April 8.

G.

Art Lit

Students have their fourth Art Lit project and are learning about Marc Chagall.  They are creating their own imaginary drawings using oil pastels.  We are working with Admin to reschedule all Art Lit sessions that were missed during the school closure.  Look for new volunteer opportunities on Vicnet for this.  We always need volunteers for this and you don't have to be an artist in order to volunteer.

H.

Loteria

Friday, March 14, doors open at 6pm and game starts at 6:30pm.  You must sign up via the google form.  Bring your own nut-free snacks and spill-proof water bottles. We're still looking for volunteers so check out Vicnet.  There will be prizes.

I.

Silent Dance Party

This will be March 13 and 14 during students PE class.  Both days will be free dress days for the entire school.  Each kid will have their own headset with their own choice of music.  See Vicnet for volunteer opportunities, if there are still openings.

J.

Volunteer Opportunities

All families are asked to contribute at least 20 hours of volunteer time by the end of the year.  Check Vicnet for upcoming opportunities.  We rely on volunteers to make a lot of things happen for our kids.  Logging volunteer hours is very important because many grants ask for reports of volunteer hours or donations from Annual Family Give.

K.

Uniform Exchange/Lost and Found

The uniform donation box is always location in the school lobby if you want to drop off clothing items.  If you would like to look at what is available at uniform exchange, coordinate with the office for a time to come look

Make sure you are checking the Lost and Found.  There are a lot of items.
