Alicia Bermes presented information on joining the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce. 

• Members are listed on website to do advertising, listed in the community guide
• Access to networking events in the community
  • Other examples: Access to career day speakers
• Can attend events as much or as little as we need to
• Gives school the direct access to interface with area businesses
• Some local private schools are members, in addition to Beaverton School District.  We would be the first charter school to join

• Auction is coming up.  Ticket sales are down compared to last year.  At 42 tickets right now.  Max is 150 people.  We had 80 people last year. 
• Christa to present to parents at Loteria tomorrow night
• May consider dropping the price, but giving a golden ticket entry to those families who already purchased.

• Update since February Board meeting:  submitted grant to City of Beaverton for Mural project
• Sarah connected with Perla on RACC grant next steps.  Perla and Jesus are now added to the grant portal.  They will reach out to RACC with updated timeline for the project.

• Adreana gave info on Chamber of Commerce pricing.  Tiered options

• Mural project on track, artist may be able to start in the next few weeks.  We believe City of Beaverton grant will come through, but may need to tap into school funding before that. Group is also work on community donations and a separate grant with NAC.  PTO involved in planning the unveiling of the mural. Tentatively working on May 3rd.
• ATDLE has released application for recognition criteria.  Closes in April.

• Josh provided two dates to Christa to move the matting and shed to new location.  Plan is for March 23rd.

• Members to review Chamber of Commerce membership tiers so we can provide recommendations at next Board meeting.  Sarah to add to the meeting agenda.
• Next meeting: May 9th, 6-7pm
