Volunteer Interest Form
40 responses were received for the volunteer interest form. The low number of responses could be due to people already volunteering or maybe less interest since it only covered events thru the end of the school year. Went over slides summarizing the form and discussed next steps. Reach out if you have questions or comments.
C.
Sock Fundraiser
Arco Iris families raised $530 from the fundraiser. OHSU raised $257. We will be meeting with Perla on the 27th, so numbers from the fundraiser will be on the website after that.
D.
Uniform Exchange
Uniform exchange was in February and only 8 families showed up. We will have another one after Spring Break. We hope to send out notice in advance so families can prepare better and be more involved.
E.
Bottle Drop
We collected bags on February 16 and raised about $130 worth at this collection event. We've raised $1350 total for the year. We will pass out bags before the next collection event, which will be March 16.

OBOB
Students had fun practicing today after school. Mock meetings will be happening on Friday. There are still some spots available for parent volunteers.
I.
Restaurant Night
Papa Murphy's today and tomorrow for restaurant night. Online orders only, use code 'care' so we get credit.
Next Restaurant Night is March 7, 4-8pm at Chipotle.
What do people think about a dessert night? Crumbl Cookie, Sees, donuts, Nothing Bundt Cake?
Pietro's Pizza raised $233.88, which wasn't much money. This may be a once a year one because it's fun, but not a great fundraiser.

Auction Update
Auction tickets went on sale today. It will be an in-person event this year. If you have questions, reach out to Christa Billings.
K.
Familias Unidas
Next meeting is Tuesday, March 14, 6-7pm. Trying to plan topics for the rest of the year, but we don't have this one yet. Safe, Respect, Responsible and SEL are on the list for possible topics.
Please join the Equity committee if you are interested. We are looking to do equity audits in classrooms and the library to make sure we are showing diversity and different power dynamics.
L.
Field Trips
Sign up will be on ParentBooker for field trips. You need to have completed the volunteer expectations form, background check, and proof of COVID vaccine before the event. Please follow all rules and expectations. If these are not followed, you will not be able to participate again. This has been an issue in the past and we don't want to have any problems this year.
M.
Spirit Wear
Spirit Wear is being sold online for any items that we have on hand.
N.
Teacher Appreciation
Can we pair this with a Crispy Cream Donut fundraising event? Should we provide donuts in the break room for teachers? Money raised can go to school and teacher gifts. We're taking suggestions for themes for that week. Someone also suggested lunch for the teachers.
Thanks to everyone who donated items at the last collection event. Upcoming dates: March 7 is counselor appreciation and March 26 is office staff. May 8-12 is teacher appreciation week. Kinder stock the break room collection is March 8.
O.
School Tours
All school tours have been moved to 6pm. Nothing will be happening while there are students in the building. Dates will be posted on ParentSquare.

FUNDrive Fundraiser
Last year this event was in May. We're going to start communication about the event in March. Spring cleaning is a great time to donate any soft items. We will collect them in black garbage bags once we have dates figured out. Joel will once again connect with Value Village to schedule this and clarify whether we can also collect books and small household items. Currently it is only set to collect soft items like clothes and shoes. This fundraiser is based on weight, so the more we collect, the more we make. The minimum they want to collect is 2000 points. Last year we collected about 4800 pounds of goods. It was a finish line effort last year, so hopefully we can start earlier this year. Bags collected will be stored at Peterson's business until the turn in date.
Q.
Board Update
Sarah Zephirin reminded everyone that we have a community forum on Friday with the executive director candidate. Sign up for in person or participate virtually via zoom. In you aren't in person, then you can't give feedback.
III. Other Business

Free Dress Day
Free dress day is coming. We're meeting with the Director to schedule the date. Coming this spring, we will turn him into a sundae. Christa will also announce the class winner for the auction soon.
Crystal shared a slide presentation on the PTO revamp. The presentation explained why we are reorganizing and what the new PTO structure will look like. This should help us as we move forward to standardize the work flow and improve our communication. Leslie has been working on a PTO calendar that we can share with families so they can see upcoming events for the school year. Please reach out with any feedback and let us know what is working, or not working.
