Emails went out assigning teams.  

Proposing to turn Mr. B into a sundae the Friday before break.  Need to confirm as this may interfere with class celebrations.  Will post a video.  That day will hopefully also be a free dress day.  Will send out confirmation when this is approved.  

Teaching Assistant appreciation went well.  Monday is Third Grade stock the break room.  Drop off donations after school.  Working on Holiday gifts for teachers.  Greater Giving campaign set up to get donations for gift cards.  Look for this to come out soon.  

Restaurant Night: Maria Bonita raised $400.  The next restaurant night will be at Maria Bonita again since they will close their doors to move location. In January it will be at Pietro's Pizza in Beaverton on a Wednesday night.  This one offers the option of in-person since it is a larger restaurant.  

Sock Fundraiser: partnering with OHSU.  Will be pushed to January due to holiday schedules.  Partnering with Hoop Swag, a local company in Sherwood, to pick custom designs and sell socks.  Sock price will be around $15-16, $5-6 which will go directly to the playground fund.  Good quality and they last a long time.  Expect more information to come soon.  Contact Mike Bryan with questions or specific sock requests.

Bottle drop collection went well.  We collected about 25-30 bags today and have already turned in 15 bags.  We have an appointment Dec 1 to turn in all of the bags for the bonus points period.

Looking at soft goods fundraiser in May.  

Check Parent Booker for volunteer opportunities.  We would like more people to help, especially with the younger classes.  Sign up for an eWallet for your student for an easy way to purchase books.  

Senora Rioja will be here mid-December for see the school and she will start teaching January 3.  

We have two new coordinators: Simon and Callie.  Will be posting on Parent Booker for more volunteers.  Please reach out to the PTO if you are interested in helping.

The Board has selected individuals to help screen and select the new director.  

The second graders will be hosting a toy drive again this year.  The toy drive will support Doernbecher and there is a wish list on the Doernbecher website with suggestions.  Look for more information and collection dates.

Program is going well.  Thanks to all of the room parent volunteers.  

We will post something in the future about volunteer interest forms.  There are still come committees that we are hoping to get volunteers for.

We're having issues with Parent Booker.  The volunteer coordinators are looking into the possibility of switching platforms.  Thanks for your patience while we deal with this.  All hours submitted prior to Monday should now be approved.  

Working with Perla to update the website and keep it updated.  Will have an announcement section, fundraising, and other info.  

The office has a new organization system and is in need of size 5-6 clothes.  Look for more information to come about a uniform exchange (after the break) or how to drop of clothes at the office.
