Two restaurant nights in May at Papa Murphy's: Wednesday and Thursday May 18-19, ONLINE ORDERS ONLY. Online code is KIND.  They will donate 25%.

June 9 is Chipotle, which is a big restaurant night because they give 30%.

We raised $320 from Joe's Burgers.

Elections

Elections are postponed to the June meeting.  They will be held at the June 1 meeting.  Anyone can be an officers as long as you are a parent or guardian for a student.  There are many positions that have a variety of requirements for hours needed and level of involvement.

Movie Night and School Tours

Movie night is dependent on the number of COVID cases at school.  So far Movie Night is still on the calendar, but if the numbers get worse, then movie night will be postponed.  The plan for tours is to start at 6:15 and they will be self-guided with a map to follow.  Not all classrooms will be open due to COVID protocols.  We will need a volunteer in each room that will be open for tours.  Tours will end at 7:00 and the upstairs portion of the school will be closed.  The movie has not been selected yet.  Popcorn will be provided and there will be an area to share snacks and drinks with others.  Reminder: if you bring chairs to sit on you will need to bring a blanket or towel to place under the chairs to protect the floor.  This is a great opportunity to meet others at the school.

F.

Soft Goods Fundraiser

We are set up to collect soft goods at a collection site on May 21, 10-1 at the Peterson's Warehouse.  Delivery to Value Village is on May 28.  Soft goods include backpacks, clothes, belts, linens, sheets, towels, comforters.  Thank you to the Petersons for allowing us to use their warehouse for collection.  Please do not take items to the school.  If you are able, please pack your items in 30 gallon trash bags.  Some bags will be in the school office for families to pick up and pack with items to donate.

G.

Summer Activities

We are looking for hosts for summer park play dates.  Host duties generally just mean that you are the contact person if there are questions about the playdate.  Playdates focus on Kindergarten through Second grade, although all ages/grades are welcome.

Other get-together ideas could be Movies in the Park, berry picking, THPRD activities.

H.

Volunteer Hours

Please be mindful about logging your volunteer hours.  We ask each family to volunteer 20 hours each year at the school.  Hours can include monetary donations or volunteering at the school in the classroom or helping the front office.  Attending PTO meetings also counts for volunteer hours.  Our school relies on volunteer hours to help the school run.
