C. Billings called a meeting of the board of directors of Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School to order on Monday Mar 30, 2020 at 6:31 PM.

II. New Business

2019-2020 Auction
Ms. Sky Johnson and Ms. Adrienne Butzer updated the Board on Auction planning. Given the current state of emergency of our community in pandemic response, particularly with unprecedented unemployment and financial instability, the Auction Committee recommends that the Auction be cancelled. In its place, they provided alternative fundraising activities and timing, and in the interim focus on community.
The Board discussed the school's financial position and funding and/or loan opportunities to offset as well as landscape of school giving.
ACTION ITEM: Ms. Johnson to email Ms. Christa Billings with the plan for donations, tickets, sponsorships.

R. Timmons made a motion to cancel the 2019-2020 Auction scheduled for May 9, 2020.
S. Trivedi seconded the motion.

Executive Director's Report
Executive Director Michelle Herron updated the Board on what staff have been working on, including online learning survey results, and answered questions on online learning, instructional time, ADMw payments, enrollment, office hours, zoom video-conferences, chromebook check-outs, tracking lost revenue, Student Investment Act funding, SBA and other lending programs. State Testing has been cancelled for this year. Food services and childcare for essential workers offered in the district.
