Call the Meeting to Order
C. Billings called a meeting of the board of directors of Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School to order on Sunday Mar 15, 2020 at 4:07 PM.
II. COVID-19 Closure
A.
Staff Hourly Pay During Closure
S. Stevens made a motion to approve hourly pay for instructional assistants for 5 days and for the office assistant 10 days during the emergency closure.
S. Trivedi seconded the motion.
The board VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

COVID-19
Executive Director Michelle Herron shared updated information and the Board discussed the state of emergency due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, including community, staff hourly pay, instructional hours, income and revenue loss, food waste, social distancing, precedents in other peer schools and Beaverton School District, educational assistance resources, academic expectations during the week, auction contingency planning, and moving the regular Board meeting from 3/19 to 3/26.
