  • April 23rd - Pastini
  • May - Papa Murphy's
  • June - QDOBA
  • Please go! Participation has been down and we are making about half versus last year. Panda Express only brought in $258 vs LY $465. Seeing the same across all other restaurants. Overall Restaurant Night has brought in $1900 this year vs $2700 last year.

Bottle Drop

  • Bags are in the lobby and you can turn them in to any bottle drop collection location. Please DO NOT drop off filled bags at the office.
  • Volunteer opportunity: We need someone to take over as bottle drop coordinator. This requires minimal volunteer hours. You just need to make sure that there are extra bags in the school lobby and refill the bin if it ever runs out of bags. There are bonus events twice a year that we need to sign up for online. We have fliers for these events that need to be shared on ParentSquare.

  • Thank you to everyone who volunteered to do cut outs, that prep was super helpful!

VicNet Registration

  • The security update is necessary because vulnerabilities may be present on devices that run older operating systems. For apple iphones you will need to use a device with iOS 17 or higher after March 23, 2026. This is ipadOS 17 for iPads. For google devices, a phone or table with the Android 10 operating system will be needed after March 23, 2026. If you have an older phone please reach out to volunteer coordinators-we suggest using a desktop.
  • If you are interested in joining the team to be a volunteer coordinator please reach out! This is a from home opportunity where you will post volunteer times on VicNet. Team of 3 currently, one more person would lighten the load quite a bit for all!

Volgistics Update Reminder & VicNet Registration

  • The school uses the VicNet/Volgistics platform for all volunteer opportunities throughout the year so please make sure you are signed up.
  • New families make sure you’ve completed the Volgistics Volunteer application form and complete the background check. The background check will be sent to you a few days after your application was submitted. This will come from Verified First so make sure you’re looking for that message.
  • Current families please make sure you fill out the updated volunteer expectation form if you haven’t already so you’re able to volunteer. Openings won’t appear on VicNet until you have completed this.
  • It’s important to sign up for an account even if you’re not planning to come in as sometimes opportunities pop up that you are able to help with and it’s important to have this done before hand as the verification process can take up to a few weeks to complete and we don’t want you to miss out on anything.
  • Many teachers allow parents to come in as a “Mystery Reader” for their child’s birthday. You WILL need to be registered on VicNet and have completed the background check to participate in this!!
