Restaurant Nights

• October Restaurant Night – Red Robin
  • Thanks to everyone who came out for our Red Robin restaurant night. Together we raised $451.18!                      
• November Restaurant Night – Friday, November 14th at Panda Express
  • This is an online only event so all orders must be placed through the app or on their website with the code 9008840.
  • This is a nation-wide event so please share the code with friends and family anywhere in the US!
  • This is one of our bigger restaurant nights as 28% of sales will be donated back to Arco.

MOVE-A-THON

• THANK YOU to all the wonderful Arco Iris students, families, and friends that helped support our school by participating in the Move-a-thon this year! 
• Together we raised $77,743 in donations + $12,370 in corporate matches for a total of $90,113! 
• Our students worked hard this year to earn their Glow in the Dark Silent Dance Party (Date TBD) by reaching our $70,000 goal! 
• Fandom Day (for everyone!!) will be December 5th. 

Bottle Drop 

• Please pick up the “Blue Bottle Drop” bags in the office lobby. We don’t have a date scheduled yet but there will be a collection day during the bonus period in November.
• You can fill the bags with any eligible bottles or cans that have the “OR 10” code on them.
• Please DO NOT drop off filled bags at the office.

• During the first art literacy project students learned about the life and the work of Vincent van Gogh.
• The second art literacy project will be the week after Fall Break and students will be learning about Michealangelo.
• Volunteer openings will be posted on VicNet soon! Please be on the lookout for these and grab a spot before they are filled!

• Room Parents are finalizing plans with their teachers and will be getting the details out to parents soon if they haven’t already!
• Check VicNet for volunteer opportunities to help with these celebrations! There will be opportunities for volunteers to help in the classroom during the celebration as well as opportunities for volunteers to donate supplies and snacks for the class! 
• Remember, every $10 you spend on class donations counts as 1 hour of volunteering and counts toward the yearly goal of 20 hours per family!
• All snacks need to come from the school’s allergy-approved snack list so please don’t send in any additional, non-requested, snacks with your students. Thank you for keeping all our students safe!

• Stock the breakroom was Tuesday, November 4th for 3rd grade families.
• The next one will be for 2nd grade families on Tuesday, December 2nd. 

• The school uses the VicNet/Volgistics platform for all volunteer opportunities throughout the year so please make sure you are signed up.
