J. Holmes called a meeting of the Board Recruitment Committee Committee of Athlos Jefferson Parish to order on Thursday Apr 10, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
II. Board Recruitment Committee

Prepare recommendation for board member elections

Review process for Officer elections
Share the goal of changing roles to provide experience across the board. Bring up at the May board meeting and ask they consider if they want to put their name in the hat.
Ask them to indicate their interest by June 10th. Include nominees in the board packet for June 21st. Vote at the board retreat. All roles are open. Ms. Burns is interested in relinquishing her role. I send out all roles, ask which roles you would be interested in serving in. Express interest. Google form or email.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 4:12 PM.

Teresa to reach out to Ms. Washington and Mr. Acuna to see if one will consider a 3-year term. After determined, finalize our slate of candidates as a recommendation to provide to the board for the June board meeting vote.
For next year, ask the new leader to keep her eyes open for a potential parent for the board.
