No minutes to approve

Jill reviewed changes to this policy:

• Currently employees can take PTO before time is accrued (it is frontloaded at the start of the year)
• The requested change is to have the time accrue before PTO is taken.
• This policy needs to be finalized before approval.

Jill shared the draft policy with the following proposed revisions:

• Possession of devices includes on school buses
• Devices must be inaudible and put away unless its part of the instructional process (with approval from school leader)
• School leader can provide provisions for after school program use
• Students may use devices under certain circumstances with school administrative approval.
• Devices are prohibited for gaming, use of cameras in locker rooms, taking photos without permission, bullying, etc.

Consequences were also noted in the revised policy as well.

Committee made recommendation to move to the board for approval.

Jill shared election information.  A parent shared interest in serving, but no application has been received.
