Call the Meeting to Order

H. Wier called a meeting of the Finance Committee of Athlos Jefferson Parish to order on Tuesday Dec 29, 2020 at 7:10 PM.

II. Discussion

A.

Audit acceptance

Michelle from the auditor office reviewed the audit report/conducted the exit interview. Three reports:
  • First report- clean
  • Finance reports- one finding
  • Uniform Guidance- clean with no findings
Other things to note:
  • revenue was up due to increased enrollment as well as rentals of the facility
  • discussed upcoming grants related to CARES act
  • future financial situation and funding is unknown due to COVID, etc.
  • some policy reviews are needed
  • discussed closing the inactive bank account
  • ethics training is imperative
