2026 Simulated SPS
Dr. Bressler presented the simulated (predicted) SPS for Athlos 2026 under the new accountability system - using the 2025 data. Dr. Bressler pointed out that Athlos is .4 points away from a "C" label according to LDOE.
III. Departmentalize third-grade
A.
Departmentalize the third-grade
Ms. Harrison presented a request to convert the 3rd grade from self-contained to departmentalized. Mr. McCoy stated that there is a preference to allow the site administration to make this change without board consent. Dr. Holmes agreed. Therefore, a vote was not made, and the academy has permission to move forward with the change.
