The Committee reviewed reports from Youth Truth survey as well as Portrait of a Grad interviews (trends).
The Committee noted that families really value the connection to career and real life experiences. The alumni interviews are powerful - could we add more?
They noted that offering office hours feels big and is something that sets KIPP MA apart. These aren't usually offered in a traditional district.
The Committee would like to dig in more with fresh data; new Youth Truth, Family Survey data will be shared at next Committee Meeting.

- Sept 5 T&L Minutes.pdf
MCAS data comparisons were shared (KIPP to sending district and state), DIBELS Beginning of Year headlines were re-shared, and iReady Beginning of Year headlines were shared.
The Committee recommended longitudinal representation (timeline) for the full board. They inquired as to how disabilities and MLL status is playing into data. How might service minutes and MyPath play into one another? Are they in competition?
iReady has really smooth reports and can be sent home easily - could this be an option for students who need more practice?
